New poetry from Michael Drummond.

Existence continues yet surroundings change,
Confusing in this crystallising light.
The clash of old and new with
Monuments torn and melted down
To reveal a gleaming statue, and a smoking landscape.

Every way stands open, you just have to look,
Paths leading on in endless complexity.
But one thing is certain.
There is no beaten track to lead,
There is no shining light to guide,
Only a vague idea, an indistinct inclination.

Keep your wits about you.
