2011-2012 Committee

Freya Barry

President

I am the Barack Obama of Concrete. Only with slightly higher approval ratings. And not left-handed. In my role as President I organise committee meetings, sort out the membership subs, organise Concrete's stall at Socmart and organise socials and events like Media Ball and Media Bowl.

Secretary

As Secretary to Concrete, I do lots of little things. Briefly describing such matters, I help maintain Socweb, participate in the organisation of social events and submit myself to the President’s whims. 2012 will be an exciting year for Concrete where I hope to see as many people as possible involved in the society and also, the appearance of a marquee at the summer barbecue

Chris Teale

Treasurer

As the Treasurer of Concrete, I'm responsible for making sure we can afford everything that we want to do. I'm the one who takes your membership money at Socmart and at the Big Meet, and my role is primarily to make sure we have enough money in our account to put on the events we do in this academic year. Everything from MediaBall, MediaBowl to the summer barbecue is funded by your subs, so I really couldn't do my job without as many people as possible being members.
