Efforts by Union of the University of East Anglia Students in the aftermath of the annual union campaign poll have led the University of East Anglia to declare its intention to amend the current organisation of the exam period.

While the university continues to desire students to be able switch modules before week three of semester two, the exam timetable will be published two weeks earlier on March 7th 2014. Another change will see the vast majority of students only sit one exam per day during the exam period this academic year, with further improvements to be made in the future.

Union Academic Officer, Louise Withers Green, said “I’m thrilled that our campaign and subsequent meetings with the University have generated these results. This is the sort of thing that is possible when the Union and the University work in partnership to make students’ lives better.”
