Girl with Gift of Fanta Can makes moves in 24 hour Launderette

2:30 am.

I’m waiting.

Writing, watching –

I’ll come out

when I’m all washed up.

she comes on over.

Lilting gently

Moves with intent –

Pause cycle.

Offers up kindness,

‘you want some?’

Shy smiling.

Spin again.

Now I’m thinking candid,

Drinking kindness, canned –

Machinations over and I’m ready /

For the Persil soaked, dead –

 ‘wait!’

– washing –

Pausing

Mid leaving.

Feel like thanking,

‘Want a drag?’

So I’m two now.

Rolling thin

Rolling clumsy

(always scrimping)

Wander out.

Surreal evening.

Kinda awkward,

kinda warm-feeling.

Strange flutters,

also lulled.

End cycle.

I hoist heavy threaded wetness

Find heaven in the cleanliness.

heave off.

She rushes after

Calls out,

halting

Now I’m waiting

illuminated.

‘Where can I find you?’

I type it in.
