Keep it up UEA FC!

Last week, the UEA Men’s football team uploaded a video entitled: “UEA FC Stay at Home Challenge”, featuring team members playing keepie-uppie with toilet roll. The challenge is an energetic and creative way of passing on the vital message to stay home and stay safe.

Despite being confined to their homes, the team appears to be in good spirits and individual training, be it unconventional, is still being practiced.

The team also has cause for high spirits, as the Norfolk FA announces that the conclusion of the Norfolk Senior Cup will kick off the 2020-21 Football season. The team tweeted quoting the statement made by Norfolk FA: “As it stands the intention is to conclude the County Cups as ‘season openers’ for the 2020-21 season if it is possible and practical to do so.”

UEA FC responded: “Hope for the Norfolk Senior Cup Final!”

It seems that in these uncertain times UEA FC have still found a way to spread positivity, and are optimistic about the team’s future.

Fortunately for UEA, the majority of the football team are in their second year, ensuring that the roster will remain largely unchanged at the beginning of next season, giving the players a chance to have a shot at the title they trained for over the course of this year.
