UEA Angels secure Legacy medal

UEA Angels’ Cheer Stunt comp squad have placed third at Legacy, their second competition of the year.

Legacy was held at Stratford’s Copper Box, the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic venue which now serves as a multi-purpose sporting arena.

The Angels scored 89.70, improving on their result from the season-opening Future Cheer competition.

President Emily Roe told Concrete: ‘I’m very proud of the girls and how far we’ve come since the last competition. Again we hit all of our stunts and performed a clean routine. We’re looking forward to our last competition at BCA now on 16th March and we’re hoping to improve our routine and place even higher!’

BCA will take place this year in Derby. UEA’s Cheer Dance team will also be making the trip to the Midlands, hoping to defend their 2018 BCA title.
